The yearling sales season for 2025 commences this week for the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, where we will be in action for our Filly Partnership with Michael Freedman, this year purchasing alongside Tony Fung Investments.
Details of our purchases can be found below.
This is a strong filly, with lovely quality. She’s well-bodied, and strides out very nicely with a great attitude. She is by Satono Aladdin, who stands in New Zealand for NZ$65,000 and is proving to be a good young stallion, with his progeny headed by Group 1 New Zealand Oaks winner Pennyweka as well as the recent Group 2 winning 2YO filly Too Sweet.
This filly is from a family of good fillies, including Group 1 winner Ruthless Dame, Champion Sprinter Sea Siren and the top-class Group 1 winner Warm Heart. Her sire Power has limited representation as a broodmare sire, but already has five stakes horses to his credit, including the smart UK sprinter Pink Crystal. Power is a son of Oasis Dream, who is a very good broodmare sire, with fifteen Group 1 winners out of his daughters.
This is a lovely filly from the first crop of Golden Slipper winner Stay Inside. She’s got a super attitude to her work, and is a strong, well-bodied filly with great quality, depth and power. She’s an early-running sort who will have significant onsale value should she perform on the racetrack.
Stay Inside is an exciting stallion prospect as a top-class 2YO, and also by virtue of the fact that he is by Extreme Choice, who continues to impress with outstanding statistics. This filly is also out of an unraced full-sister to the top-class 2YO Houtzen, who was a Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner, and also trained on to be placed in a Group 2 sprint in the UK.
