The final stop of the premier yearling sales circuit is taking place at Inglis Riverside for the Easter Yearling Sale, and we have been in action securing some choice yearlings.
Lot 16 - Snitzel x La Mexicana colt - $1,700,000
This is a high-quality colt, with a lovely action and strength. He has great presence and looks all racehorse. He is by Champion sire Snitzel, who is showing no signs of slowing down, adding his third Golden Slipper winner this season with Marhoona.
This colt is out of La Mexicana who was a very smart performer, winner of six of her 16 starts, including at Group 3 level. He was secured for our Colt Partnership alongside TFI and Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott Racing.
Lot 141 - Stay Inside x Schwesterherz colt - $650,000
This is a very precocious-looking colt. He’s got a powerful action and a great attitude to his work. His dam was a very smart performer in Germany, where she was rated 108 by Timeform and her best race distance was 1400m/1600m, which is in line with the other good horses from the family.
Her sire, Areion was a very good 1200m horse in Germany, and he is running at 9.7% stakes winners to runners as a broodmare sire. He was secured for our Colt Partnership alongside TFI.
Lot 198 - Zoustar x Summer Sham - $1,400,000
This is a quality colt, with lovely depth of girth and strength. He’s got powerful movement, and super presence. He is full-brother to Schwarz, who recently won the Group 1 William Reid Stakes to secure his place at stud.
Further, his dam was a very smart sprinter/miler and comes from one of Australia’s very best families, that of multiple Champion Sire Redoute’s Choice. He was secured for our Colt Partnership alongside TFI.
