Snitzel filly Conscience got her career off to a sparkling start today at Sandown in the 1000m 2YO Maiden. Settled towards the rear by jockey Blake Shinn, she unleashed a powerful sprint in the straight to win, running her final 600m in an electric 32.64 seconds on a soft 6 track.
She was purchased for John and Deb Camilleri’s Fairway Thoroughbreds at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale from the Baramul Stud draft alongside TFI and her trainer, Peter Moody.
She is a half-sister to JHB Colt Partnership purchase and dual Group 3 winning-2YO, Espionage, with her second dam being Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Military Rose.
There looks to be many exciting days ahead with this filly for her owners!
