After a promising run at 1000m for new trainer Tony Gollan, Cannball lined up in the Listed 1200m Falvelon Quality this weekend.
He sat in a lovely position behind the speed under race day rider Martin Harley, and travelled powerfully into contention in the straight and kept on strongly to hold off all challengers.
This was Cannonball’s third stakes victory after victories in the Listed Redoute’s Choice Stakes as a 2YO and the Group 3 Maurice McCarten Stakes as a 3YO.
He will now head to the $1m Magic Millions Snippets at the Gold Coast on Saturday 11th January.
