Valiant too good at Hawkesbury

I Am Invincible colt Valiant showed his rivals a clean pair of heels this week at Hawkesbury, coming home in good style from fellow JHB runner Lagarde. He settled towards the rear of the pack and joined in strongly in the final stages, powering clear in by far the fastest sectionals of the entire day.

An exceptionally good-looking colt, Valiant was purchased from the Segenhoe Stud draft at the 2017 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale, and this was just his second start. There looks to be plenty more wins in the future for Valiant.

Thanks as always to trainers Peter and Paul Snowden, and congratulations to owners Belinda Bateman, Fergus & Delia Doyle, Donna & Rob Love, John & Fran Ingham, Gary Diamond, Phil & Glenda Mehrten, Danny & Pauline Saab, Arthur & Charlotte Inglis and Steve & Louise Gillard.
