Satin Socks bolts in at Canterbury

Blue blooded filly Satin Socks, trained by Peter and Paul Snowden put it all together this Friday at Canterbury under a great Tim Clark ride. Seizing the initiative as the filly jumped ahead of the pack, Clark sent the filly forward and she never saw another rival. Rounding the turn they upped the ante and Satin Socks bounded clear to win by a widening four lengths.

Satin Socks is the second foal of Belinda Bateman’s Group 2 Silver Slipper Stakes winner Satin Shoes, a JHB yearling purchase. Her first foal is Listed Gimcrack Stakes winner Satin Slipper (Pierro) and both Satin Shoes and Satin Slipper are in foal to leading stallion I Am Invincible for 2020 foals.
