The busy start to the year with yearling sales continues this week with the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale, and we were in action for the James Harron Bloodstock Colt Partnership, again buying in conjunction with Tony Fung Investments.
Lot 93 - Farnan x Can’t Get Enough - $160,000
This is a quality colt, with lovely strength and substance. He’s got nice width, and walks out with a good, fluent action. He is by Golden Slipper winner Farnan, who has produced Group 3 Golden Gift winner North England from his first crop this season, who also came out of this sale.
This is a good, fast family. His dam was a dual winner at 1100m, and is a half-sister to the very smart sprinter Big Parade. Further back, this is the family of top-class 2YO Zizou, as well as stallions such as Not a Single Doubt, King’s Legacy and Snippets.
Lot 634 - Zoustar x She’s Our Choice - $290,000
This is a strong colt, with lovely quality and great width. He strides out well, and looks like a more precocious type of Zoustar.
This colt is out of a half-sister to the top-class sprinter and outstanding stallion Extreme Choice, which would give him a very desirable profile if he were to be successful on the racetrack.
